Artefact 2:
Social media.
Social media has become such an influential and controversial aspect of society in todays day and age however, social media has created a creative outlet for those to express them selves and their passions. One of my happens to be creating content, journalism and photography all of which i express in both my personal and public instagram pages. While i haven’t had much experience in any of those areas some of my efforts have been rewarded such as features on Discover Tasmania’s instagram page for my videography, and multiple posts on Ghanda Clothings instagram also. These companies with many followers and viewers have reshared my images and given me the opportunity for a greater audience on what i am passionate about and allowed me to gain a greater following and appraisal for my efforts.

Artefact 3:
Photography is another passion of mine and as my course grows as does my knowledge and skills. my work may be amateur but is a growing skill that i often try to perfect. the communications industry has any ventures where i can express my creative side and use and adapt my photography skills. My blog enables me to constantly grow my skills and my communications course also enables me to develop these skills also and apply them to my work.

Artefact 4:
Videography.
Expanding on what was discussed in artefact 5 on photography, is my passion for videography. As social media advances as does the elements that come with it such as the option to create ‘reels’. This development allows the app to add music and cut and shape videos into one long video and create something more advanced such as the example below. This piece of work however was created for a university assignment by myself on the negative impacts of social media. As communication professionals learn and adapt along with the advancement of technology as does the quality of work. Videography is starting to be seen more and more and is something i use for my personal and public instagram pages and a skill i want to develop throughout my degree and as an emerging professional.
